The concept regarding valor often paints a picture depicting selfless heroism. A soldier charging into battle without personal danger, a website fireman rushing toward a blazing inferno to save lives - these are the archetypal examples that come to mind. Yet, one must consider a darker side to this lauded image: the potential for selfishness inhere
